LifeLock and Mojo Join Forces in Fight Against ID Theft

Proprietary Applications Provide Better Service and Protection

Chandler, AZ (MAY 16, 2006) — According to The Privacy Rights Clearinghouse, a non-profit group in San Diego, it’s estimated that the identities of 4 million people were compromised since mid-February 2005. It is further predicted that in the United States alone, 15 million people (or 1 in 20) will have their identity compromised in 2006 — that's more than a 350% increase, making ID theft by far the fastest growing crime in America.

Fighting ID theft takes a team effort and that’s why LifeLock CEO Todd Davis announced this afternoon that the nation’s leader in preventing ID Theft has partnered with Tennessee-based Mojo, Inc. to continue driving home the consistent message of “preventing ID theft”. Both companies use proprietary applications which provide faster and better service, plus increased protection for personal information.

“We are excited about our new partnership with Mojo, Inc., said Davis. “Much like LifeLock, Mojo uses a system that is unique to the market and provides users with the best in security and service. We will always be looking for new ways to spread our message of prevention, including teaming with companies like Mojo.”

Lifelock, based in Chandler, Arizona utilizes a proprietary system of “locks” on a consumer’s identity, preventing others from using a client’s identity. The service combines tactics that include locking-down information, setting and maintaining alerts, forcing banks to contact people directly before issuing credit and removing a client from pre-approved credit card lists.

LifeLock is the first Identify Theft Prevention Company in the U.S. and specializes in stopping the crime rather than reimbursement afterward. LifeLock takes the burden, fear and worry out of the consumers’ hands. Lifelock is so confident in its system that it guarantees the effectiveness up to $1 million, which would cover any expenses and legal feesshould a breach occur.

"Mojo is delighted to team up with Lifelock in the distribution of our services,” said Jason McCullar, President of Mojo, Inc.  “Our mutual customers share a common desire to protect their personal information.  The combined services of Mojo and Lifelock compliment each other to achieve this necessary objective."

Mojo, Inc., is located in Brentwood, Tennessee and considered the leading provider of information technology support services for both the home and enterprise markets. The Mojo solutions are based on proprietary applications that allow its technicians to deliver automated and instant support to all users. Unlike other providers of such services, Mojo automates the ongoing maintenance by optimizing computers to filter out spam, eliminate spyware, protect against viruses and enhance computer performance and security against attack.
