U.S. Adult Soccer Association Scores For Members With LifeLock

250,000 members encouraged to remove ID theft fear and worry

(Chandler, AZ) - The United States Adult Soccer Association (USASA) announced that it has partnered with LifeLock to offer its 250,000 members with identity theft protection. Headquartered in Lawrence, Indiana, the USASA is a national organization member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and is the only adult soccer member organization of USSF.

Regional Director Bruno Trapikas stated the USASA Board of Directors unanimously approved the partnership with Lifelock because it is the only preventive identity theft service and is not a band-aid to fix a problem after it has occurred. The USASA is excited to provide this service to their members.

LifeLock, based in Chandler, Arizona, is the nation's first and only identity theft prevention company that includes a $1M guarantee. Specializing in stopping the crime rather than reimbursement afterward, LifeLock takes the burden, fear and worry out of the consumers' hands by utilizing a proprietary system of "locks" on a consumer's identity, preventing others from using any stolen identity.

The service combines tactics that include locking-down information, setting and maintaining alerts, forcing banks to contact people directly before issuing credit and removing a client from pre-approved credit card lists. Lifelock guarantees the effectiveness of its system up to $1 million, which would cover any expenses, financial losses and legal fees should a breach occur. To date, no client has been compromised but numerous clients have been saved from becoming a victim.

"Our partnership with the USASA is groundbreaking since it is the first time an association of this size has decided to remove the threat of ID theft for its members," said Todd Davis, CEO of LifeLock. "We have made protecting your own personal information as easy as possible. No writing letters, no phone calls to credit bureaus and no reason to worry. We are glad to provide USASA members and their families with the peace of mind that comes with eliminating the worry of ID theft."

Since opening its doors one year ago, LifeLock has been setting the standard for fighting identity theft and providing services to help those who need it the most. So far, programs have been created to help victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita, as well as the recent tornados which hit around the U.S. in the past few weeks.
