Air Force Sergeants Association Selects LifeLock As Identity Theft Prevention Solution for Members

TEMPE, AZ - October 30, 2007 - LifeLock CEO Todd Davis announced today a partnership with the Air Force Sergeants Association (AFSA) to provide members with the nation's leading identity theft prevention service, LifeLock. AFSA will offer LifeLock's identity theft prevention service as an additional benefit offered to members and their families.

"We are pleased to welcome the Air Force Sergeants Association as the first organized military association to offer LifeLock's complete identity theft prevention service to its population," said Davis. "AFSA members are now able to concentrate on the more important issues in their lives knowing that LifeLock is working to make their personal information useless to criminals."

In February, the Federal Trade Commission released its annual report highlighting that for the seventh consecutive year, identity theft tops the list of consumer complaints. In 2006, identity theft cost Americans $1.1 billion dollars, the highest amount ever. The Privacy Right Clearinghouse reports that since January 2005, more than 29 million military identities have been compromised from military organizations including the United States Department of Veterans Affairs to military recruitment offices.

As the leader in identity theft prevention, LifeLock reduces the risk of identity theft problems by setting and automatically renewing fraud alerts with the major credit bureaus, removing member names from pre-approved credit card offers and junk mail lists and guaranteeing the service with a $1 million service guarantee.

"For all that our members do on behalf of our country, we are continuing to look for ways to improve their way of life; to find a partner like LifeLock that not only serves to prevent identity theft but backs it up with a $1 million guarantee - it's a natural fit." said Richard Dean, CEO of the Air Force Sergeants Association.

AFSA and AFSA Auxiliary members have access to members-only benefits and services, including a variety of affordable health and auto insurance plans, Credit Card availability, and many other money-saving services tailored to enlisted life and needs. AFSA's membership is comprised of the TOTAL Air Force enlistees, both active, retired, and veteran enlisted members of all grades, including Air Force Active Duty, Air National Guard, and AF Reserve Command, and offers an Auxiliary program for family members of Air Force personnel.
