Hilary Schneider

Chief Executive Officer and President

Hilary Schneider was named chief executive officer of LifeLock, Inc. in March 2016. As CEO, Schneider is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and oversees all aspects of the company’s business operations and growth. She originally joined the company as president in 2012.

Prior to LifeLock, Schneider was executive vice president of Yahoo! Americas, where she was responsible for Yahoo!’s North and South American business, reporting to the CEO. Schneider, who joined Yahoo! in 2006, previously led the company’s U.S. region, Global Partner Solutions and Local Markets and Commerce divisions.

Before Yahoo!, Schneider held senior leadership roles at Knight Ridder, Inc., where she was CEO of Knight Ridder Digital before moving to co-manage the company’s overall newspaper and online business. Before joining Knight Ridder, Schneider served as president and CEO of Red Herring Communications, overseeing Red Herring Magazine, RedHerring.com and Red Herring’s events unit.

Schneider also held a number of roles at Times Mirror including president and CEO of Times Mirror Interactive and general manager of the Baltimore Sun. Prior to her role at Times Mirror, Schneider was vice president of corporate finance at Drexel Burnham Lambert.

Schneider currently serves on the board of directors of Vail Resorts, Inc., Rent Path, and Water.org. Schneider holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Brown University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.


Todd Davis

Executive Vice Chairman

Todd Davis was named executive vice chairman of LifeLock, Inc., in March 2016. In this role, Davis helps support the business in a variety of ways by capitalizing on his skills and experience as a pioneer in recognizing identity fraud as a serious consumer issue. Previously, Davis was the company’s chief executive officer.

Davis helped found LifeLock in 2005. In 2009, he received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for Orange County/Desert Cities region for a Top Emerging Company. In 2010, the company debuted in eighth place on the Inc. Magazine 5000 list of fastest-growing private companies in America.

Davis has led LifeLock from a startup to a successful, publicly traded company. Currently, LifeLock has nearly 800 employees in four locations, which include its Tempe headquarters and three California offices. In 2015, the company recorded revenues of $587 million and had 4.2 million members by year’s end.

Deloitte Consulting included LifeLock on its 2014 Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and clean technology companies in the U.S. and Canada. Also in 2014, the Phoenix Business Journal recognized LifeLock as one of the publication’s Best Places to Work.

Davis began his professional career at Dell Computer. Prior to leading LifeLock, he served as a managing partner of a successful marketing organization and was an executive in multiple technology startup companies..

Davis currently serves on the board of directors of GetInsured and Conquer Paralysis Now. He holds undergraduate degrees in entrepreneurship and management from Baylor University.


Douglas Jeffries

Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer

Douglas Jeffries joined LifeLock in 2016 as chief administrative officer. In this role, Jeffries oversees the company’s business development, infrastructure and risk management teams.

Jeffries has more than 25 years of senior leadership experience in finance and administration. Prior to LifeLock, he served in executive roles with Xero, RetailMeNot, Taleo Corp, Palm, Inc and eBay. He began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers.

Jeffries holds an MBA from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s degree in accounting from California State University-Chico.


Sharon Segev

Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary

Sharon Segev joined LifeLock as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary in January 2016.

Prior to this role, Segev served as vice president, corporate development, general counsel and secretary of Elo Touch Solutions, Inc., a leading touch technology solutions provider. In that role, she was in charge of all worldwide legal operations, including strategic transactions, corporate governance, compliance, regulatory issues, employment, finance, intellectual property, commercial transactions, supply chain and litigation, as well as all corporate development initiatives.

Prior to Elo Touch Solutions, Segev served as vice president, associate general counsel and assistant secretary at Cadence Design Systems, a publicly traded electronic design automation company. Before joining Cadence, she was an attorney in the San Francisco office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher. Segev began her legal career in the law offices of Herzog, Fox & Neeman in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

Segev holds degrees in law and accounting from Tel-Aviv University in Israel and is admitted to both the California and Israeli Bar. She has been recognized by The Recorder as one of the leading women in tech law and is a member of HiPower, a group of senior women executives focused on accelerating women’s advancement in leadership positions.


Scott Carter

Executive Vice President of Enterprise, LifeLock & CEO, ID Analytics

Scott Carter joined LifeLock in 2014 as chief operating officer for its wholly owned subsidiary, ID Analytics, Inc. In August 2015, Carter became CEO of ID Analytics, and in August 2016, Carter took on the additional role of executive vice president for LifeLock. In this role, Carter is responsible for the full range of services the company provides to enterprises to reduce fraud and to enable enterprise growth.

Carter brings more than 20 years of executive leadership experience in big data, software-as-a-service and decision technologies for the financial services industry and adjacent markets, including serving as senior vice president at Experian, where he was responsible for analytics and fraud solutions globally and led its North American go-to-market strategy.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in business administration from the University of Delaware, Lerner College of Business and Economics.


Neil Daswani

Chief Information Security Officer

Neil Daswani, Ph. D., joined LifeLock as chief information security officer in 2015. In this role, Daswani oversees the protection of LifeLock’s information assets and is responsible for security, architecture, and operations across the organization’s network.

Prior to LifeLock, Daswani has served in a variety of research, development, teaching and leadership roles at Twitter, Dasient, Google, Stanford University, NTT DoCoMo USA Labs, Yodlee, and Telcordia Technologies (formerly Bellcore).

Daswani holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Columbia University, and master’s and doctorate degrees in computer science from Stanford University where he is also co-director of the Stanford Advanced Security Certification program. Daswani is co-author of “Foundations of Security: What Every Programmer Needs to Know” and has been awarded more than a dozen industry-related U.S. patents.


Mike Dean

Chief Strategy Officer

Mike Dean joined LifeLock as chief strategy officer in January 2016. In this role, Dean is responsible for business strategy, operations of enterprise sales alliances and LifeLock’s wholly owned subsidiary ID Analytics.

Dean has deep experience in sales, marketing, product and operations. Prior to LifeLock, he was at Experian’s consumer division for 11 years and held multiple executive positions, including group president, president, chief marketing officer, senior vice president, and vice president, business development.

Dean has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California, Irvine. He is an advisor to Social Finance, Inc.


Michelle Eisenstat

Senior Vice President, Human Resources

As senior vice president of human resources, Michelle Eisenstat leads all aspects of LifeLock’s employee experience and plays a major role in the company’s performance by developing and executing initiatives that support organizational strategy and objectives. She also oversees human resources business partners, talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, and learning and organizational development.

Eisenstat joined LifeLock in 2009 as a recruiting manager and has steadily expanded her roles and responsibilities. Previously, she held talent acquisition roles in the financial services, technology and healthcare sectors, working for such companies as Bank of America, Countrywide, Avnet and Banner Health.

Eisenstat holds a bachelor’s degree in communication from Arizona State University and is a member of the Arizona Human Resources Executive Forum.


Ryan Giordano

Vice President, Business Analytics

Ryan Giordano has served as vice president, business analytics at LifeLock since July 2015. In this role, Giordano is responsible for the analytics, business intelligence and data warehouse functions of the company’s operations.

Prior to LifeLock, Giordano led operations, account management and business analytics for MasterCard’s Merchant Loyalty Solutions. Giordano has also served as president and chief executive officer of GiiNii International Corporation, a leading multi-license brand electronics company, and held leadership positions at ZoomSystems and Eton Corporation.

Giordano holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the Leavey School of Business, Santa Clara University.


Michael Hargis

Senior Vice President, Member Services and Business Operations

As senior vice president of member services and business operations, Michael Hargis leads member experience for the company, bringing LifeLock’s service commitment to life. In this role, he oversees member services, business operations, data analytics, resolutions, process improvement initiatives and business partner operations.

Hargis joined LifeLock in October 2013. Previously, he was vice president of global service and operations at CareerBuilder, where he built a team from the ground up across the North America, EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions. The CareerBuilder team was recognized with multiple “Best Customer Care Team” awards. Hargis also served at GE Capital where he held leadership positions at both GE Retailer Financial Services and GE Consumer Cards.

Hargis has an M.B.A. in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree from Thomas More College. Hargis is an active Wharton Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania.


Jill Nash

Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs

As executive vice president, corporate affairs of LifeLock, Jill Nash leads all aspects of financial, consumer, and enterprise public relations, as well as issues management, employee communications, educational programs, corporate social responsibility, and government affairs.

Nash has a passion for transformative brands and has built and led strategically focused, global teams for companies in a variety of industry sectors. She led global communications and public affairs teams for Levi Strauss & Co., Yahoo! and Gap Inc. Earlier in her career, she was senior vice president, corporate communications with Charles Schwab.

Nash serves on the board of directors of Water.org. She’s received numerous industry awards, and was recognized as one of the Most Influential Women in Bay Area Business by the San Francisco Business Times. Nash is also a member of the Arthur Page Society, an organization composed of distinguished corporate communications or public relations professionals. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Diego State University, where she graduated with honors.


Dev Patel

Chief Product Officer

Dev Patel, Ph.D., joined LifeLock in August 2015 as part of the acquisition of BitYota and became our senior vice president of product and technology in early 2016. In this role, Patel leads the company’s initiatives to build new products and services, which use LifeLock’s data to help protect and otherwise benefit members and other consumers.

Prior to LifeLock, Patel was CEO of data warehouse cloud service, BitYota Inc. Patel also served as vice president, product and engineering at Yahoo! Inc., where he managed engineering, quality assurance, product management, product marketing and engineering service teams around the world. Previously, Patel was CEO of Whereonearth a geo technology company that was acquired by Yahoo! Patel started his career as a Research Fellow at the University of London.

Patel holds a doctorate degree from Brunel University (UK) in image analysis using neural networks. He has secured more than 15 patents in the areas of geo technology, online advertising and telecom technologies. He has also published more than 20 academic papers in key journals and conference publications.


Gail Provenzano

Chief of Staff and Vice President, Project Management Office

Gail Provenzano joined LifeLock in 2012 and serves as chief of staff and vice president, project management office. Provenzano has managed multiple engineering and business operations teams at LifeLock, including quality assurance and release, resource planning, business intelligence, and quality management.

Prior to LifeLock, Provenzano was global product lead for custom solutions at Yahoo!, Inc. She has also held leadership positions at Knight-Ridder, Inc., Philadelphia Newspapers and the Miami Herald.

Provenzano holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology from University of Wisconsin-Stout and a master’s degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of Pennsylvania.


Ty Shay

Chief Marketing Officer

Ty Shay has served as chief marketing officer at LifeLock since March 2015. Prior to this role, Shay served as chief marketing officer and head of customer experience for SquareTrade, a Bain Capital Portfolio Company. For this leading mobile and consumer electronics protection plans company, Shay owned the end-to-end customer experience and led a team of more than 500 people worldwide, including all of marketing, operations and award-winning customer service.

Prior to SquareTrade, Shay was the founder and CEO of FanIQ, a sports social games site that he grew to over 12 million registered users. Previously, Shay was CMO of Hotwire, which he joined prior to launch and grew into a top-five travel site before selling it to IAC (NASDAQ:IACI). Before Hotwire, Shay was a key part of the team that launched Esurance, which was subsequently acquired by Allstate (NYSE:ALL). He started his career in brand management at Clorox and Procter & Gamble.

Shay holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford School of Business and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he graduated with highest honors.
